Shantelle Patton is a passionate advocate, artist, and entrepreneur dedicated to advancing equity and opportunity in Buffalo’s Empowerment District. As Director of Programming and Community Engagement at Intersect Buffalo, she works across the pillars of Economics, Health Equity, Education, and Engagement to strengthen community connections and drive meaningful impact.

Shantelle is the Founder & CEO of That Brown Bag Minority Business Directory, Inc., a platform amplifying over 650 Black-owned businesses across Western New York, Central New York, and Toronto. She also serves as President of the Urban Chamber of Commerce Buffalo and holds leadership roles on the boards of the Greater Jefferson Avenue Business Association, Open Buffalo Emerging Leaders Advisory Board, and the Michigan Street Preservation Corporation.

Known as a cultural architect and advocate, Shantelle brings a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and community voice to her work. Whether developing innovative programs, convening diverse partners, or amplifying grassroots leadership, she is committed to building systems that empower entrepreneurs, strengthen neighborhoods, and create lasting change.
