  • Comments Off on IC Success Fall 2025 Cohort & Pitch: Where Preparation Met Opportunity

This fall, Intersect Buffalo celebrated another powerful milestone with the IC Success Fall 2025 Cohort and Pitch, marking the culmination of weeks of learning, growth, and preparation for local entrepreneurs building on Buffalo’s East Side.

The IC Success Program is designed to support startup and growth-stage entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, and practical tools that strengthen business foundations and prepare participants for sustainable growth. Throughout the cohort, entrepreneurs refined their business models, clarified their value propositions, and developed the confidence to tell their stories with purpose.

Pitch Night brought that work to life.

Entrepreneurs took the stage to present businesses rooted in creativity, resilience, and community impact. Each pitch reflected not only a business idea, but the journey behind it, demonstrating what’s possible when preparation meets opportunity.

We proudly recognize members of the Fall 2025 cohort who were able to receive seed money,  including:

  • Jewell Eason, Founder of Buttahfly Creations

  • Andrew Brown, Founder of Debonair Sharp LLC

  • Carine Merritt, Founder of Carine’s Caribbean Cuisine LLC

Their pitches showcased innovation, discipline, and a deep commitment to serving the community, hallmarks of the IC Success experience.

IC Success is a key part of Intersect Buffalo’s Empowerment District work, grounded in Entrepreneurship, Education, Equity, and Engagement. Programs like IC Success ensure that entrepreneurs are not only seen but supported, creating pathways to capital, visibility, and long-term success.

Pitch Night is not the end of the journey. It’s a launchpad, connecting entrepreneurs to resources, networks, and next steps that help businesses grow beyond the room.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported!
