Intersect Buffalo sits on the East Side, and that’s not an accident. We built this space to be close to the community we serve, not removed from it.

Our work stands on four pillars: economics, health equity, education, and engagement. Entrepreneurship sits at the front of that work. Programs like IC Success walk small business owners through financial literacy, capital readiness, legal structure, and pitch development, now with a Peer Pod model that puts our own alumni in the room as advisors for the next cohort coming up behind them. But that’s one piece of what we do, not the whole picture.

Health equity means connecting East Side residents to resources and care that too often stop short of this neighborhood. Education means building pathways for young people and adults alike to grow skills that open doors. Engagement means showing up, listening, and building programming that actually reflects what this community needs, not what we assume it needs from the outside.
