Through the workshops we learned how to forecast our budget, identify and hone in on our target market, tighten up our business plan, and strengthen our marketing. The program staff made us all feel like a little family, and even when we thought we couldn’t make it through, they stood by us and offered support.

When I first joined, I felt like the underdog, unlike many of my peers, I didn’t have a logo or website established prior to starting the program. However, the support, resources, and encouragement I received completely changed that. One of the most valuable aspects of the program was the mentorship.

This program has been an important aspect to my business ; not only were we provided resources from learning sessions for almost all aspects of business starting with financials, marketing , engaging with our valued clients/customers and collecting valuable information to implement on our every day operations.

Additionally, the program helped me gain confidence in speaking in front of large groups. I became more comfortable articulating my business vision and goals.

The most powerful aspect of the program was the in-person sessions in the classroom. I really enjoyed the speakers and networking events also. My most impactful milestone was the addition of another food truck to The Blend coming in Spring 2025!
